Julien Barge Cote Rotie Coeur de Combard 2018 (OCC/12)
Tasting Note
'dark red; has a sunny, rounded bouquet, raspberry liqueur, fragrance, violets on roller skates, is willing and cosy, has style, good variety, notes of licorice, the French Zan version of it. The attack is good and close-knit, the palate thorough, well firm, well filled. Cool tannins stretch out well, pursuing a good line. The finale is also firm. This has direct lines with a sure freshness, definition. It’s nicely coiled, ready to emerge over the coming years. The aftertaste is crisp. 14.5°. Bottled Oct 2020.'
