Robert Arnoux Romanee St Vivant 2005 (OCC/6)
Tasting Note
'Very good bright red-ruby. Pungent spices, violet, blood orange and licorice all lift the black raspberry and blackberry aromas. Dense, silky and thick, with superb spicy depth to the dark fruit and mineral flavors. A wine of great volume and palate-saturating flavor but there's no hint of heaviness about it. Offers superb balance and finesse, and finishes with amazingly suave tannins and great persistence. A spectacular showing today, and a good bet to be the best wine that Lachaux has ever bottled.'
