'Disgorged in March 2021, Dhondt's 2016 Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Le Bateau Vieille Vigne is brilliant, unwinding in the glass with aromas of citrus oil, fresh bread, white flowers and toasted nuts that only hint at the complexity to come. Full-bodied, chiseled and concentrated, it's lively and incisive, with a bright spine of acidity and a pillowy mousse, concluding with a long, saline finish.'
