We are delighted to share that we have decided to move our warehouse operations to London City Bond’s latest site at Drakelow Tunnels. We have enjoyed a long and successful partnership with Octavian over the past 15yrs, but feel that the time is right to make this move. The warehouse at Drakelow, carved under the hills near Kidderminster, used to function as a WWII warehouse and has now been refurbished into a brand new, state-of-the-art temperature and humidity controlled environment.

The main motivation for relocating our operations is that we will not only have our own dedicated part of the warehouse, but our own dedicated team. This will help us streamline our processes and improve efficiency and in turn, we will be able to provide you with a more effective and flexible service. We are really excited about this new chapter, and we hope that you’ll join us.

We will begin the main move in January 2025 and anticipate that it will take 2-3 months to complete. We will endeavour to ensure things remain very much business as usual but naturally, with any such move, there will be some disruption. 

Transferring your wine collection to Baron Wines couldn't be simpler. There is a long-standing industry myth that moving your collection from one provider to another is a clunky process that takes up your valuable time. The truth of the matter is that it isn't - because we'll do all the work for you.

Moving your wine collection is easy - all you need to do is authorise the release of your wines and we'll do the rest.

Please note that whilst we do accept loose bottles, we do not accept hand-mixed cases into storage. Any assortment cases must be official Chateau/Domaine assortments, such as d'Auvenay, DRC & Guigal.
