'The 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Jeunes Rois is slightly higher-toned than its peers in this flight. The nose presents veins of blue fruit and crushed violet petals. It's a little more flamboyant in style while maintaining Gevrey DNA. Fine delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with vivid red berry fruit, cranberry and raspberry, quite saline in the mouth. This is a Gevrey that certainly gets the saliva flowing and beckons you back for another sip. There is plenty of personality here; this is a Gevrey with immense promise.
