The 2017 Morey-Saint-Denis Les Chenevery 1er Cru is completely de-stemmed and matured in mainly used oak. It has a tightly wound bouquet that feels bashful compared to the other crus. The medium-bodied palate offers grainy tannin, a mixture of black and red fruit and a tangible sense of energy on the focused, very Morey finish. Excellent. (Drink between 2022-2038)
