Lisini Brunello di Montalcino 1995 (OCC/12)
Tasting Note
'Dark, full ruby-garnet. Warm and ample on the spicy nose. Powerful and concentrated in flavor, with sweet plum and raspberry fruit and a tarry nuance. Offers impressive weight and palate presence through to the finish, which is brightened by refreshing acidity.
Very polished wine. Regularly among the finest Brunellos since the 1985 vintage and in a zone-the stretch between Castelnuovo dell'Abate and Sant'Angelo in Colle-that is surely among the very best of the appellation.'
- 91/100 Daniel Thomases
