Tasting Note
'After tasting the quite powerfully-built 2020 Perrières, I was expecting an even bigger bruiser in the 2020 Pruliers, but this wine is actually quite svelte in personality out of cask and is really a beautiful wine in the making. The excellent aromatic constellation reveals scents of sappy dark berries and black cherries, raw cocoa, spit-roasted venison, a lovely base of dark soil tones, a nice touch of new oak and plenty of upper register smokiness. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and sappy at the core, with lovely focus and backend mineral drive, ripe, seamless tannins and a very long, complex and impeccably balanced finish. Great juice.'
