'The 2022 Meursault-Blagny 1er Cru had a lot of reduction when I tasted it from barrel, though its intensity was clear. The palate is very promising: wonderful tension here, steely and spicier than the Meursault Village, with touches of fennel and white pepper on the finish. Quite feisty and surely one for long-term aging.'
