Tasting Note
'A cool, ultra-fresh and high-toned nose of cranberry and raspberry trimmed in a bit of warm earth is showing only traces of secondary development. The lighter weight yet precise and attractively textured flavors are decidedly punchy while delivering excellent authority and impressive depth on the balanced and lingering finish where a touch of austerity slowly emerges. This is not a big example or even especially muscular Clos de la Roche but it's harmonious and delicious. In my view, this has arrived at its peak though it should have no trouble continuing to hold well. Tasted twice in 2025 with consistent notes.'
