Armand Rousseau Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru Clos St Jacques 2010
In Hong Kong
Tasting Note
'I mean, anything less than transcendental would have been an “epic fail”. The bouquet just soars from the glass, putting even Jean-Marie Fourrier’s CSJ in the shade. Impossible to resist these head, floral aromas that just enrapture the senses even at this primordial stage. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, wonderful precision, everything perfectly in balance. It is difficult to really find fault in this wine – certainly one of the finest that I have tasted from Rousseau. Transcendental'
