Tasting Note

'The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet Les Referts 1er Cru has a slight mintiness on the nose that I find a little incongruous in this wine. This appears to ebb with aeration and reveal more petrichor scents. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, touches of orange pith and wild peach, fine depth and precision towards the finish. This is an absolutely delicious Puligny. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2018 white tasting.'
