Dauvissat Chablis Les Preuses 2007
Tasting Note
'The 2007 Dauvissat Les Preuses is a baby at the present time, but with the potential to be counted amongst the one or two greatest vintages of this great wine in the history of the domaine. The bouquet is deep, nascently complex and still quite primary in its mix of grapefruit, lemon, apple, beeswax, chalk and oyster white soil tones, spring flowers and just a hint of vanilla. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, deep and racy, with a rock solid core of fruit, a nicely closed personality at the present time and simply profound length and grip on the soil-driven and extremely racy finish. A brilliant, brilliant wine.'
