Duroche Corton 2023 (OCC/6)
Tasting Note
'The 2023 Corton Grand Cru comes from purchased grapes, hence under the Pierre & Marianne Duroché name. It was completely destemmed. This has a mixture of red and black fruit scents on the nose, pastille-like elements emerging and hints of orange zest. The palate is medium-bodied with fine pliant tannins and a keen line of acidity, gaining weight toward the finish. I thought this was from Vosne-Romanée until Pierre informed me it was from Corton! This is very elegant. '
