Tasting Note
'The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin Lavaut Saint-Jacques Vieilles Vignes 1er Cru has a beautifully defined bouquet with hints of dark berry fruit, pencil box and tobacco. It's a little more introverted compared to the 2022 last year. The palate is very well defined with supple tannins, a millefeuille of lightly spiced red fruit and a lingering peppery finish. It has a little more presence and precision than the regular cuvée. This is superb.'
