'A spicy, pure and beautifully layered nose that while fully mature, still displays a certain freshness with ample sous bois, anise, clove and a certain animale note that can also be found on the rich and still moderately structured big-bodied flavors that are delicious, complex and long with an attractive touch of backend minerality. This is really quite a lovely effort that is drinking perfectly now. Tasted twice in the last few years though the first bottle was truly bizarre.'
