Joseph Drouhin Montrachet Marquis de Laguiche 1971
Tasting Note
'Deep golden. A highly complex and fully mature nose where the layered floral and citrus aromas play right on the edge of oxidation yet there is no trace of it on the very ripe, rich and opulent full-bodied flavors that possess absolutely stunning power and length, even after 40 years. While this isn't going to improve from here, it should be capable of holding for years to come. In a word, terrific.'
