'Sadde's domaine fruit is now complemented by purchased grapes from Fleurie to craft the 2022 Côteaux Bourguignons Mon Poulain, a medium-bodied, supple and enveloping wine redolent of sweet strawberry compote, cherries and petals. As was the case in 2020, some of the Gamay was direct pressed and the resulting must added to the macerating vat to render the wine less structural and monolithic than it might otherwise have been in this ripe vintage.'
