Ponsot Clos de la Roche 2002 (Case/6)
Tasting Note
'A mature, expressive and distinctly earthy nose features notes of various red berries, old leather and whiffs of spice and smoke. There is excellent size, weight and solid power to the larger-bodied flavors that retain good muscle on the impressively long, complex and impeccably well-balanced finale that is shaped by bright, but not drying, acidity. For my taste this beauty has peaked though it's a wine that should continue to drink well for years to come.'
