1 x DRC Romanee Conti 1978

£15,000 per bt In Bond

96/100 Neal Martin:
'This bottle of 1978 Romanée-Conti Grand Cru replicates the performance of the previous one in October 2016 and just like then, it is trumped by the 1978 La Tâche. That should not detract from a very fine Pinot Noir, even if nowadays you need to take out a mortgage to pay for it. It was picked on October 16 at a yield of 27hl/ha. Demonstrating wide bricking commensurate with age, it has a lovely bouquet that feels a little more ferrous than the last, mainly red fruit mixed with a curious espresso-like scent, though wonderfully defined. The palate is medium-bodied with exquisite harmony, notes of bay leaf and clove infusing the soft brambly red fruit with dried blood and iron filing notes towards the finish. It is just a little frayed around the edges at 40 years of age, but still a privilege to drink.'

6 x DRC La Tache 2002

£27,000 per case of 6 bt in OWC In Bond

97/100 Neal Martin:
'Tasted at the La Tâche vertical at The Square. It was initially difficult to choose between the 1999 and 2002 La Tâche, but in the end the former just ascended to the stratosphere, while the latter simply cruised, albeit at a very high altitude. Now at 13 years of age, there is just a slight bricking on the rim. It feels a little more forward than the 1999–a stylish and personality-driven bouquet with predominantly red berry fruit interlaced with warm bricks and undergrowth (much more so of the latter compared to the 1999). The palate is beautifully balanced with exquisite tannin, perfect acidity and an effortless, you might say easygoing personality. That is deceptive because it is a complex and utterly harmonious La Tâche that is the epitome of elegance. Unlike the 1999, I would broach this now with an hour's decanting. Wonderful.'

3 x DRC Richebourg 2005

£12,000 per case of 3 bt in OWC In Bond

98/100 Neal Martin:
'A deep ruby colour with crimson rim. The nose wafts seductively from the glass and caresses the senses: cherries and wild strawberries with orange and apricot sorbet developing after 20 minutes in the glass. Very harmonious and sensuous, hints of orange-blossom after 30 minutes. The palate is medium-bodied, beautifully balanced, utterly harmonious and incredibly refined. Vibrant acidity, immense precision and tension with an almost weightless, yet intense finish of ebullient red fruits: cherry, redcurrant and boysenberry with a hint of black tea. Very long and lingering at the finish. A wine you wish will never end. Probably the best Richebourg from Romanee-Conti that I have encountered.'

6 x DRC La Tache 2010

£30,000 per case of 6 bt in OWC In Bond (Wilson Daniels)

98/100 Allen Meadows:
'An ultra-pure, cool and remarkably elegant mix of wonderfully spicy, red and blue pinot fruit, red currant and wild red berries that are openly floral in character. The overtly stony flavors are shaped by notably firm yet extremely fine tannins and while there is ample power and vibrancy, the palate feel is all silk and satin. To be sure, this is a big wine with impressive concentration but 2010 is a vintage for LT of refinement and polish if not exactly finesse. Even so, it's still going to require some 20 to 25 years of cellar time before it reaches its full majority but when it does, it will be considered one of the all-time great vintages for this incredibly storied wine.'

6 x DRC Richebourg 2010

£21,000 per case of 6 bt in OWC In Bond (Wilson Daniels)

96/100 Allen Meadows:
'The restrained and markedly cool nose displays an impressive variety of floral and spice hints that add a sense of elegance to the stunningly complex ripe dark berry fruit and plum aromas. While this is almost always a muscular and at times even robust wine young, in 2010 it offers a truly remarkably sophisticated mouth feel because like the RSV, the tannins are refined and fine-grained. Moreover, there is the same knockout complexity that the nose displays on the intensely mineral-driven finish and overall, this is a complete wine of simply fantastic length. It also offers a completely different, and much more masculine, experience than the RSV. I can't wait to try both in 15 to 20 years. Note that this is evolving glacially and I have extended my suggested drinking window by several years.'

3 x DRC Romanee Conti 2012

£48,000 per case of 3 bt in OWC In Bond (Wilson Daniels)

99/100 Neal Martin:
'Usually, choosing between La Tâche and Romanée-Conti is like choosing between your two favourite children. Not this year. The 2012 Romanée-Conti is one of the most spellbinding that I have tasted since I began 17 years ago. The bouquet is quite astonishing with brilliant delineation and focus, an almost disorientating sense of mineralité that soars from the glass and leaves you speechless. The palate is perfectly proportioned with a sensational line of acidity, brimming over with energy and frisson. This flirts with perfection and you know, one day it might actually achieve it. Just 350 cases produced.'

6 x DRC La Tache 2015

£30,000 per case of 6 bt in OWC In Bond (Wilson Daniels)

98/100 Allen Meadows:
'As is often the case in its youth, this easily possesses the most aromatic breadth of any wine in the range with an utterly kaleidoscopic nose that incorporates notes of Asian spice box elements, rose petal, lavender, lilac, orange pekoe tea and sandalwood. There is superb richness to the powerfully constituted flavors that possess outstanding delineation and intensity while displaying perhaps even more minerality than usual, all wrapped in a mildly warm finish that slowly fans out as it sits on the palate. This is one classy wine that manages to do what only the greatest of burgundies can, which is to wow you with its power without weight mouth palate impression. And if all of this weren't enough, the refinement and poise here are nothing short of riveting. While I am very careful when it comes to proclaiming that such and such a vintage of La Tâche will go down as one of the all-time greats, the 2015 version appears to have the potential to be one of them. Time will of course be the final arbiter but the underlying material is so good it's difficult to be less than super-enthusiastic.'

6 x DRC Richebourg 2015

£22,500 per case of 6 bt in OWC In Bond (Wilson Daniels)

97/100 Allen Meadows:
'Subtle wood spice, violet, lavender, cassis, plum, tea and warm earth aromas combine to introduce incredibly rich, full-bodied, gorgeously complex and mouth coating flavors that possess near-perfect balance on the overtly powerful, sappy and explosively persistent mineral-driven finish. This is very firmly structured yet two important aspects render this entirely civilized: 1) the tannins are unusually fine-grained, and 2) there is so much dry extract present on the mid-palate that the backend does not possess its usual level of youthful austerity. Like the Romanée St. Vivant, this is textbook Riche built to last for decades'
